Our Mission

At Favordrop, we are more than just a gift card provider. We are revolutionizing the way people give and receive gifts, making it a memorable experience while giving back to those in need.

Origin Story

Favordrop was first born out of co-founder Tim Sardinia’s (below image, far right) idea to buy his friend a beer or otherwise “pay it forward”. The difference between what Tim wanted and what already existed, was that Tim wanted to buy his friend a beer (1) in the future, and (2) regardless of whether or not Tim was physically present to do so. Thus, Favordrop was born.

Origin Story

Welcome to our community-centered small business, where we passionately embrace the art of gift-giving. Beyond simple exchanges, Favordrop is a heartfelt exchange of joy, expressed while showing unwavering support for local businesses. In all we do, Favordrop reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on our cherished community.

Favordrop Family

Favordrop is a family-owned and run local business founded by Western New York natives Tim Sardinia and his son, Jack. Tim is a well-known restaurateur and businessman in the area, and decided to found Favordrop as a passion project. After returning from humanitarian work in South Africa and earning his Master’s Degree in Public Health, Jack joined Tim in making Favordrop a reality. Favordrop was borne from one family’s passion for community, supporting local business, and paying-it-forward, and it has carried that message onward to this day.

We are passionate about supporting local businesses and artists, as we firmly believe in the importance of shopping local.

007, on the Double!

When community partner 007’s restaurant space burned down in a tragic fire at the West Side Bazaar, Favordrop stepped in to help. Founders Jack and Tim helped them relocate to a new space in the southtowns and get a fresh start.

Shine Gold

At Favordrop, we take great pride in our role on the Hope Rises board and our essential contribution to the success of the Shine Gold event. Together, we achieved an impressive milestone by raising over $150,000 for pediatric cancer research. Our collaboration extended to bringing Cellino Plumbing on board, who generously pledged to donate $10 for each event attendee. This generous contribution allowed everyone to savor a delectable Shine Gold sub at Marco’s Italian Deli, owned by the parents of the late Sophia the Fierce. We were also delighted to partner with Prominent Coffee, who kindly offered complimentary coffee to all event attendees!
